DIRECTORS
Uğur İpek was born in 1975 in Nevşehir, Türkiye. He graduated from Roskilde University with a degree in Economics and has extensive international experienceinfinance,accounting, and trade. Since 2011, he has been successfully managing New Revision Rådgivning, the company he founded in Denmark, specialising in financialrestructuring, investment strategies, and tax planning, particularly for SMEs Since September 2025, İpek has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Denmark Turkey Business Association (DTBA). In this role, he leads efforts to strengthen economic and cultural relations between Denmark and Türkiye. With his visionary leadership, he has made significant contributions to the association’s growth and to fostering sustainable cooperation between the business communities of both countries.
Kıvanç Öztürk
DENMARK TURKEY BUSINESS ASSOCIATION– Secretary General-Vice Chairpersons
Kıvanç Öztürk was born in Istanbul in 1990. He pursued his university education in Paderborn, Germany, where he developed an international perspective and a strong understanding of cross-border business dynamics. In 2016, he relocated to Sweden, where he began shaping his professional career and entrepreneurial journey.
Today, Öztürk operates under the umbrella of Axelias Group, managing international trade activities including import, export, and foreign trade processes. He has structured his logistics operations under the Eranord Logistics brand, providing integrated solutions in transportation, customs clearance, and supply chain management. In the food sector, through Demir Natural Food Import and Export, he supplies high-quality Turkish products to the European market through both wholesale and retail channels.
In addition to his business activities, he serves as the Denmark Representative of the World Turkish Business Council (DTİK), actively contributing to the development of commercial relations between Denmark and Turkey and strengthening connections within the international business community.
Driven by the vision of building strong and sustainable business bridges between Denmark, Turkey, and Sweden, Öztürk aims to create a multi-country business network and generate long-term value.
Nurdan Catalkaya

Nurdan Catalkaya grew up in the Jylland region of Denmark and completed her law degree in Copenhagen. After completing her education, she worked at the tax office (Skatteforvaltningen) for two years, followed by three years at SIRI (Styrelsen for international rekrutering og intergration).
With her in-depth knowledge and experience in immigration law, she now runs her own law firm based in Copenhagen – NMD Law Group ApS. Through her firm, she provides professional support to foreigners in Denmark on issues such as residence and work permits, family reunification and permanent residence permits.
Efe Coşkuner
Denmark Turkey Business Association | Treasurer (Head of Financial Affairs)
Efe Coşkuner was born in Muğla in 1982. A graduate of Istanbul Technical University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, Coşkuner has over 17 years of international experience in the energy sector. Today, he continues his work in the sector with great success through North Energy Solution ApS, the company he founded in Denmark.
Efe Coşkuner, who has been serving as the president of the Denmark Turkey Business Association since February 2025, is also one of the founding members of the association. With his visionary approach to strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two countries, he has made significant contributions to the development of the association.

Ramazan Eker

Ramazan Eker was born in 1981 in Konya, Türkiye. Since 2007, he has been active in the restaurant industry in Denmark, establishing a strong reputation in the gastronomy sector through his focus on quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction.He is the owner of three restaurants in Denmark — Görkem Efendi, Görkem Grill, and Kebab Palace. With extensive experience in restaurant management, menu development,and team leadership, Eker continues to grow his brands successfully.Eker also serves as the General Secretary and Member Relations Officer at the Denmark Turkey Business Association (DTBA), where he works to strengthen collaboration among members and contribute to the development of trade relations between Denmark and Türkiye.
In addition to his achievements in gastronomy, Eker is an active investor, focusing on sustainable business strategies and new investment opportunities. By combining his passion for culinary arts with his entrepreneurial vision, he contributes to both the local economy and cross-cultural cooperation.
Taner Kavallı

Taner E. Kavalli born and raised in Denmark with roots from Sivas, Turkey. Graduated economist with a specialization in tourism and Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.
Has worked in retail for many years with responsibility for business development, management, strategy, sales and administration. Is co-owner of JT Construction, a construction company that renovates, modernizes and builds BTB. Also co-owner of Nordiq Trade Supply, which imports building/construction materials from Turkey to the Scandinavian market. At Nordiq Trade Supply, we work to make the construction industry more efficient, responsible and sustainable. We are a Danish company that imports and distributes innovative insulation and building solutions and advises with a focus on quality, technology and the environment. As the official importer of Thermolock in Denmark, we deliver products that combine high performance with a low CO₂ footprint and make work easier for craftsmen, contractors and builders.
Oktay Ilgöy

Oktay Ilgöy came to Denmark at the age of three in 1972. In 1991, he completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (HA) at Roskilde University (RUC).
He is an experienced IT and business professional with a long-standing background in technology, leadership, and networking. Oktay began his career in the IT industry in 1990 and spent the years up to 2004 with the Nordic IT group Atea.
Today, he is Partner & Market Director at NetSolutions, a position he has held since 2008. NetSolutions delivers IT solutions and supports digital transformation for its clients. As a seasoned IT leader, Oktay regularly shares his insights on technology, digital solutions, and business development.
He is highly active on LinkedIn, where he has a large following and frequently shares content related to business, professional networking, and diversity.
Oktay has also appeared as a guest on the podcast An Immigrant’s Journey, where he discusses his experiences as an immigrant and the importance of diversity and inclusion in Denmark.
In addition to his professional work, he is actively involved in business networks, including Denmark–Türkiye Business Association (DTBA), which he helps develop and strengthen.
Zahide Tanirli Kayaalp

Self-employed business owner and authorized Danish–Turkish interpreter with over 25 years of experience in language services, public authority procedures, and cross-border documentation between Denmark and Turkey. Founder and owner of Vesttolk and Vestmægler ApS, self-employed since 2005.
Approved interpreter for the Danish National Police (Rigspolitiet), sworn interpreter at the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen, and registered real estate agent with the Danish Business Authority (Erhvervsstyrelsen). Extensive experience in oral and written interpretation, official translations, immigration and visa matters, family and inheritance cases, military service issues, and real estate transactions in Denmark and Turkey.
Serves on several boards in both public and professional capacities. Previous employment includes roles at the Turkish Embassy in Copenhagen, Danish Refugee Council (Dansk Flygtningehjælp), AS3 as Transition Manager / Senior Practitioner, and A2B as Language Centre Manager. Recognized for a high level of discretion, cultural competence, and a strong client-focused approach.
